Professional 10” PCD Grinding Disk (Right)
This heavy-duty 10” PCD grinding disk is built for aggressive coating, mastic, glue, and adhesive removal on concrete surfaces. The right-hand configuration helps maintain a balanced cutting pattern when paired correctly on compatible floor grinders, delivering fast removal rates while reducing loading compared to traditional diamond grinding tools.
Key Features
-
PCD cutting segments: Polycrystalline diamond segments are designed for rapid removal of thick coatings, adhesives, paint, epoxy, and other surface contaminants.
-
Right-hand rotation pattern: Engineered in a right-hand configuration for proper cutting action and optimal performance on compatible grinding setups.
-
Aggressive coating removal: Ideal for stripping tough materials without smearing soft coatings across the floor.
-
Heavy-duty steel body: Built with a durable steel plate for stability, strength, and dependable performance in demanding surface prep applications.
-
10” diameter: Designed for single disk rotary floor grinders, allowing you to cover more surface area efficiently and reduce job time.
Applications
Suitable for removing epoxy, glue, mastics, urethanes, paint, and other stubborn coatings from concrete surfaces. Commonly used in surface preparation before re-coating, polishing, or repair work.
How to Use
- Choose the correct specification and diameter for your application.
- Mount the disk securely on the grinder.
- Maintain a steady RPM and do not force the disk. Keep it moving in a smooth, consistent motion to avoid gouging the surface.
- Ensure the grinder is in good condition. A clean, straight flange will reduce wobble and wear.
Tips & Tricks
- Inspect your grinder’s bearings and dust shroud. A bent or dirty flange can cause wobble and uneven wear.
- If using with a dust shroud, make sure there’s only a small gap (around 1/8”) between the shroud and the floor for optimal vacuum suction.
- Follow up with a diamond grit disk for a smoother finish if needed.
