Returns & Refunds Policy (Grand Diamond Tools)
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Return requests (approval required)
All returns must be requested and approved before anything is sent back. To start a return, contact us at info@granddiamondtools.ca with:

Returns sent to us without prior approval will not be accepted.

Eligibility (must be new, unused, and unopened)
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
New, unused, and unopened
In original packaging with all parts/accessories included
Free of any signs of installation, mounting, grinding dust, slurry, wear, or handling marks
We may refuse a return or reduce the refund if the item shows signs of use, installation, or is not in original condition.
Diamond tooling & consumables (final sale if opened/used)
Due to the nature of diamond tooling and abrasive products, all diamond tooling/abrasives are final sale once opened or used.
This includes (but is not limited to): diamond segments/shoes, cup wheels, PCD, polishing pads, abrasives, and other consumable wear items.

Return shipping
Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped) or a verified defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable service. We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit.
Restocking fee
Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (unless the return is due to our error or a verified defect). This fee covers inspection, handling, and reprocessing.
Damages, defects, and wrong items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item. Send photos of:

The packaging
The shipping label/box
If we confirm the issue, we’ll make it right (replacement, refund, or other resolution as appropriate).
Non-returnable items
We do not accept returns for:
Used or opened diamond tooling/abrasives/consumables
Final sale/clearance items
Special-order / made-to-order / custom items
Any item returned without approval (RMA)
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you need is to request an approved return (if eligible) and place a new order.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your approved return, we’ll notify you whether your refund is approved. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method (minus any applicable restocking fee and original shipping charges, if any) within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
